A Work Inspector (Karya Nirikshak) in the Bihar Government departments (such as Building Construction, Road Construction, or Water Resources) plays a crucial role in field supervision. Their primary responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the quality of ongoing construction work (Buildings, Roads, Drainage, etc.).
• Assisting Junior Engineers (JE) and Assistant Engineers (AE) in site measurements.
• Checking materials (cement, sand, bricks) arriving at the site.
• Maintaining daily progress reports and ensuring work is done according to the blueprint/drawing.
